Allan currently serves as the Clinical Services Manager for Perioperative Services at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), where he provides strategic leadership for the primary preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) areas. Prior to assuming this managerial position, Allan accrued more than two decades of hands-on experience as a PACU nurse, which has deeply informed his clinical and administrative expertise. He is an active member of the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) and holds dual board certifications as a Certified PeriAnesthesia Nurse (CPAN) and Certified Ambulatory PeriAnesthesia Nurse (CAPA) through the American Board of PeriAnesthesia Nursing Certification (ABPANC). Allan has contributed to the advancement of perioperative nursing as a guest lecturer and faculty member at several professional conferences, including the Perianesthesia Nurses Association of California (PANAC), ASPAN, and the International Collaboration of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ICPAN).
