Dr. Jensen is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). He was originally born in Lillehammer, Norway, before moving to and growing up in the booming metropolis of Lodi, California. After finishing medical school at Loma Linda, he completed his anesthesia residency at UC San Diego and then a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at CHLA. He is currently the Medical Director of the Post-Anesthesia Recovery Unit (PACU) at CHLA, being directly responsible for overseeing PACU initiatives and education alongside PACU nursing leadership. His areas of focus at CHLA include ultrasound guided procedures, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), acute and chronic pain procedures, and difficult airway techniques. In addition to being the Fantasy Football Commissioner of two CHLA leagues, his other interests include: video games, board games, reading, and traveling.
