On behalf of the Pediatric Anesthesiology Foundation, we are delighted to welcome you to the 65th Clinical Conference in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
For more than six decades, this conference has brought pediatric anesthesiology professionals together to learn, exchange ideas, and advance the care of children. What began as a conference established by a small group of anesthesiologists has evolved alongside our specialty into a diverse and dynamic community of clinicians, educators, trainees, researchers, and healthcare leaders committed to improving pediatric anesthesiology and perioperative care.
Today, the conference reflects not only how our field has grown, but also how the patients, families, and communities we serve continue to shape our work.
A Conference That Continues to Evolve
Our 2027 program will bring together expert voices and emerging perspectives for conversations that matter to the practice of pediatric anesthesiology today. Expect clinical updates, evolving practices, practical takeaways, a hands on airway workshop, and thoughtful discussions about how we can create meaningful impact across different patient populations and the communities we serve.
The full program is still taking shape—and we have much more to share.
Featured speakers, special sessions, and additional programming will be announced in the coming months. And one announcement is worth watching for:
Who will take the stage as our 2027 Digby Leigh Speaker? We’re keeping that one under wraps for just a little longer. Stay tuned.
New for 2027: Resident & Fellow Poster Session
We are especially excited to introduce a Resident & Fellow Poster Session as part of this year’s conference.
This is an opportunity to showcase the next generation of pediatric anesthesiology and give trainees a platform to share their scholarship, research, quality improvement initiatives, innovative ideas, and clinical work with colleagues from across the field.
Program leaders and faculty: send us your best trainees!
Residents and fellows interested in participating are encouraged to visit the Poster Session section of the conference website for submission information, important dates, and additional details as they become available.
Join Us in Anaheim
Beyond the educational program, PAF remains a place to reconnect—with colleagues, mentors, friends, and the broader pediatric anesthesiology community. Hosting the conference at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa gives us a unique setting to exchange ideas, build new relationships, and enjoy the experience together within the Disneyland® Resort.
Registration is now open, and we invite you to join us in Anaheim as we celebrate 65 years of history while continuing to shape what comes next.
Check back often as we unveil the 2027 program, featured speakers, Digby Leigh Speaker, poster session details, and other conference announcements.
We look forward to welcoming you in February!
